Description
This stylized Bison, painted in oils, is grazing in a field of wild flowers, giving the viewer a peaceful and happy feeling. When I posted it on my Social Media, I asked, “What do you like most about this bison?” I got a flood of amazing answers–but a few stuck with me. “His eye!” “He looks so friendly!” Others commented on the little birdie sitting on his back–reminding them that we, like that lone bison in the field, are never truly alone. I painted this portrait in summer hues; highlighting the crystal blue Colorado sky, so common in our Summer months, with distant view of the mountains behind. I’d love to know, What do you like most about this lone bison?
